Glamping accommodation planning, feasibility study, consulting.

We check whether your plot and your idea work together, and if they do, we stay with you from the plan to the construction.

Get in touch

What we do

Four areas where a glamping project tends to get stuck. We help with these, separately or together.

Site assessment

We look at the plot: terrain, soil, water, noise, views, access, utilities. We tell you what fits on it and what does not.

Feasibility and return on investment

Investment cost, expected revenue, occupancy scenarios and payback period, in one document. Not a promise, a calculation.

Unit type selection

Dome, shepherd's hut, luxury tent, cabin, mobile home or treehouse? We recommend the type that suits the site, the budget and the permitting situation.

Construction and supplier coordination

Requesting quotes, coordinating manufacturers and contractors, scheduling and on-site checks. One contact person until the end of the project.

Packages

Three steps, depending on where you are. If you do not know which one is yours, the free first conversation will show.

Package 3

The contents of Package 2, extended with detailed business planning: investment and operating costs, cash flow and payback scenarios, based on actual quotes.

8-step project planner

It walks you through what has to be decided in a glamping project: site, size, unit type, extras, budget. At the end you can see where you stand. No registration needed.

StartCurrently available in Hungarian only.

Glamping Mini Expo and Festival

One place where manufacturers, builders and future operators are all present at the same time. The event is in preparation: the final date, venue and programme will be published later.

AccommodationLuxury tents, eco-apartments, domes and bespoke structures from several manufacturers and architects, compared in one place.
AccessoriesJacuzzi, sauna, hot tub, garden furniture and everything else that turns a unit into accommodation.
ConsultationAccording to the plan, if you are thinking of starting your own accommodation, you can talk the project and its open questions through on the spot.
Mini-festivalAccording to the plans, with a music and community programme. A glamping site is hard to understand from a brochure, and much easier after spending an evening there.

The date and the venue are not yet final. Those who ask to be notified will receive the date and the venue as soon as they are set. Asking for a notification does not reserve a place.

How we work

Four steps, and at each one you know what you get and when. There is no stage where all you can do is wait.

1. Conversation

A short conversation, free of charge. You tell us where the plot is, what you want, and where you are. At the end we tell you which package suits you, and also if we think none of them does.

2. Matching the site and the intent

We examine the plot from the available data: terrain, access, utilities, noise, views. This is the step that, for most projects, decides what can be built on it at all.

3. Numbers

Cost, price, occupancy, return on investment. Where a number is an estimate, it says so, and next to it is what it is based on. We do not write down a number whose source we do not know.

4. The decision, and what comes after

At the end of the package you have a document you can decide from. If the decision is to go ahead, we can continue with coordinating the construction, at a price proportional to the project.

If you want to see the background behind the numbers, our sister site has a series of articles on the glamping market: GlampingGuide Knowledge Base. There, every number comes with its source, and where there is no source, it says so.

About us

GlampingGuide exists to connect plot owners, investors, manufacturers and builders, and service providers. Each of these players exists in Hungary on its own; they just rarely find each other in time.

The aim is to create unique accommodation at every budget level, in a way that gives the guest an experience and the owner a working business. In that order, because the other way round does not tend to work.

Frequently asked questions

These come up in most first conversations.

How much does glamping accommodation cost?

The range really is wide: a single shepherd's hut or dome is orders of magnitude cheaper than a twenty-seven-unit eco-resort. That is why we do not put a single figure on the homepage. The budget is set out in the feasibility summary for your plot and your idea.

Do I need a permit?

In most cases yes, and the details depend on how the land is zoned and what you put on it. We will only tell you that a given type can be installed without a permit for your own plot, after checking the local regulations. In general terms this cannot be promised, and anyone who promises it has not checked.

When can I welcome the first guests?

The opening date is determined jointly by the preparation of the site, the necessary consultations, the procurement of the units and the construction. During the preparation we put together a schedule from these. Opening and the payback of the investment are two separate questions.

What if I do not have a plot of my own?

There is still a way. First it is worth clarifying what scale of project, what area and what budget you have in mind, because these make up the criteria for the site search. Involving a specific plot or partner is agreed separately: we do not promise automatic investor matching.

How do we get started?

With a short, free conversation. That usually shows which package suits you, and also if we think none of them does.

Who would you not recommend it to?

Anyone expecting a quick and certain return. This is property development with tourism risk: it can be done well, but it is neither passive nor risk-free. If that does not fit, it is better to find out now than at the end of the second year.

When can the investment pay back?

Payback depends on the total investment cost, the revenue and the operating expenses. We prepare the calculation for your site and the planned operation, with the assumptions stated separately. A preliminary calculation supports the decision; the actual result is shaped by the operation.

Let's talk about your project

Tell us where you are and which package you are interested in. If you do not know yet, ask for a short, free call and we will find out there.
