The three units stand on one site, and that is a deliberate decision, not a random number. A single shepherd's hut mainly serves couples; three shepherd's huts with a shared fire pit, on the other hand, can also be let as a whole: to a group of friends, for a family gathering, for a smaller company weekend. So the same investment can address two groups of guests. Whether this brings bookings on weekdays as well depends on the location, the pricing and the marketing, not on the number of units.
Capacity ranges from six to twelve people, depending on how many sleep in each unit. The covered communal area is what holds this together: in bad weather it is the difference between a ruined weekend and a good memory.
Fully equipped here means that every shepherd's hut has its own bathroom and kitchen. That is what makes the shepherd's hut accommodation, rather than a romantic extra.
An off-grid setup can also be considered. It is a technical option, not a solution to the utility and permitting questions: the capacity, the cost, the maintenance and the conditions on site have to be examined separately and compared with the cost of a grid connection as measured at the site.
