Sátor Glamping
Twenty glamping tents, each roughly six metres in diameter. Each comes with a terrace, its own bathroom unit and a kitchenette. At this scale it is an operated accommodation business, not a side activity.
Rendering of the interior of a unit.
Six metres in diameter is the size at which a tent no longer feels like a tent. A proper bed, a seating corner and a kitchenette fit inside with space to spare. Below that, the guest is manoeuvring between objects, and no price can make up for that experience.
Every unit has its own bathroom unit. This costs more to build than a shared sanitary building, but it is what separates glamping from a campsite, and it is also the difference in the average booking price.
Twenty units is already a scale where laundry, cleaning and check-in are separate processes, not side tasks. This has to be thought through at the planning stage, not in the first season.
The project is also open to smaller investor participation, so a single owner does not have to fund the entire development.
